The "Roland Berger Human Dignity Award" which is endowed with EUR 1 million was presented for the second time.

On April 21, 2009, the Roland Berger Foundation presented the "Roland Berger Human Dignity Award" for the second time. Federal President Horst Köhler presented the award, which is endowed with EUR 1 million, to Reporters Without Borders and Iranian human rights activist Dr. Shirin Ebadi. Over 450 guests from politics, business, culture and media attended the ceremony at the Konzerthaus in Berlin.
