On April 21, 2009, the Roland Berger Foundation presented the "Roland Berger Human Dignity Award" for the second time. Federal President Horst Köhler presented the award, which is endowed with EUR 1 million, to Reporters Without Borders and Iranian human rights activist Dr. Shirin Ebadi. Over 450 guests from politics, business, culture and media attended the ceremony at the Konzerthaus in Berlin.
