"Fit for responsibility" – The scholarship program

The Roland Berger Foundation has completed the selection process for its "Fit for responsibility" scholarship program.

A preselection committee and a final jury selected 140 schoolchildren between the ages of 6 and 18 from more than 600 applicants from Upper Bavaria, Berlin, Brandenburg and the Ruhr region. The teachers of these applicants attested to the students' high level of motivation and exceptional ambition.

The scholarship is aimed at enabling recipients to complete secondary school and go on to university. In the coming weeks, an individually tailored support plan will be developed for each scholarship recipient based on a modular support program made up of ten components. These range from subject-specific tutoring and personal coaching to seminars and summer academic programs. Volunteer mentors provide the link between parents, schools and the Foundation, to ensure that the individual needs of every child and young person in the program are being met.

All 160 schoolchildren and students who have been accepted into the scholarship program will be announced to the public at BMW World in Munich on June 30.

We look forward to working with our scholarship recipients and we would like to thank all applicants, their parents and teachers, as well as our volunteer jurors!
